In Knockout Trivia, your objective is to outlast your fellow players answering trivia questions.
For each question, you’re provided with four answers to choose from. Choose the right answer and you’ll move on to the next round…or get knocked out with a wrong answer. Be the last player standing to win the match and a free bonus entry (maximum 5) in the big Daily Crown drawing for the following day. No purchase necessary to enter or win.
Because players could otherwise find the answer with a quick Internet search, you’ll have only about 12 seconds (on average) from the time the question is revealed until answers can no longer be accepted. So be ready to play when the game starts…and keep distractions to a minimum.
Every player is provided with three opportunities to use a 50/50 “lifeline” any time during a game. What this means is if you’re not sure of the answer to a question, you can just click on one of the 50/50 buttons. The system will instantly remove two of the wrong answers. But remember, there are only three of these buttons available…so use them only when you really need them. But when you DO need them, use them quick!
Knockout Trivia starts with easy questions for the first several rounds. It then will shift to medium-difficulty questions, and later still, questions rated “hard.” Therefore, it will behoove you to try to save your “lifelines” for the latter part of the game when the questions are the most difficult.
Each day you may play 15 games—three free games, plus up to 12 additional games for TCredits, as follows:
If you get knocked out in an early round of a game, you’ll automatically be presented with the opportunity to buy back in with TCredits. The number of TCredits required depends on the round (the later the round, the more TCredits it will cost you to get back in the game).
Even if you don’t win Knockout Trivia, you can be racking up trivia points and winning bragging rights and prime spots on the Trivia Points Leaderboard:

A fun little feature of Knockout Trivia is the display of the flags of the countries with the most players in the game. Root your country on to victory from the sidelines or, better yet, enter the game and help your country win the match and dominate the Trivia Points Leaderboard and the Top Player Leaderboard—a leaderboard that tracks how every country in the world is doing in ALL Eager Zebra games! Note: So that all countries have the opportunity to reach the top of the leaderboard, its players’ points won are halved every 30 days.

Knockout Trivia isn’t for everybody. To work properly, Knockout Trivia requires that you have a good Internet connection on your end. If you do not, latency may create timing issues. Note that latency is a function of YOUR computer and the speed of YOUR Internet connection—which is out of our control. There are some things you can do, however, to mitigate latency issues:

The Knockout Trivia Leaderboard badge is awarded for earning enough Trivia Points to make the Leaderboard. The minimum leaderboard rank to receive a Knockout Trivia Leaderboard badge is 500. Add bronze trim by achieving a top 200 rank. Add silver trim by achieving a top 50 rank. Add gold trim by achieving a top 10 rank. Note: So that all players have the opportunity to reach the top of the leaderboard, Prize Points won are halved every 30 days.

Monthly Trivia
Get this badge when you place within the top 20 leadership rank for Knockout Trivia for the previous month. Get the basic badge for placing within the top 11 to 20 ranks. Add a bronze trim for placing within ranks 3 through 10, a silver trim for winning the Runner-Up slot, and a gold trim for the Champion score.

By participating in the contest, each entrant agrees to abide by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and understands that the results of the contest, as determined by Sponsor and its agents, are final in all respects. ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to legal residents of their respective countries where not prohibited by law, who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry who have Internet access and a valid email account. Sponsor has the right to verify the eligibility of each entrant. Sponsor employees and members of employees’ immediate family are not eligible to participate.
CONTEST PERIOD
Entries may be submitted during the pre-contest entry period for each contest. Late entrants may also be allowed during the first few rounds of a contest.

WINNER SELECTION
The winner of each Knockout Trivia contest is the entrant who finishes the contest with a correct answer. The entrant or entrants who missed the final question of the contest are deemed the Runner-Up(s). The winner of each Knockout Trivia contest is named on the WINNERS page HERE upon the conclusion of the contest. The winning prize is automatically awarded to the Member’s TripleClicks account within 48 hours of the end of each contest. Notifications will be sent to the Member’s registered account email address. Each entrant is responsible for monitoring his/her email account for prize notification and receipt or other communications related to this contest. Upon the request of the Sponsor, the potential winner may be required to return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release and Prize Acceptance Form and IRS W-9 form. If a potential winner fails to comply with these official rules, that potential winner will be disqualified.
PRIZES
Each Knockout Trivia match winner will receive one free bonus entry in the Daily Crown. Maximum five bonus entries per day.
PLAY & WIN LIMITS
Players may play a maximum of 15 Knockout Trivia matches per day, and may win a maximum of 12 matches per day.

Prize is non-transferable. No substitution or cash equivalent of prizes is permitted. Sponsor and its respective parent subsidiary companies, agents, and representatives are not responsible for any typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of the contest, including, but not limited to, errors in any printing or posting or these Official Rules, the selection and announcement of any winner, or the distribution of any prize. Any attempt to damage the content or operation of this contest is unlawful and subject to possible legal action by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds, in its sole discretion, to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the game or the Website; to be in violation of TripleClicks user agreements; to be acting in violation of these Official Rules; to be acting in a unethical or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person, as determined by Sponsor at its sole discretion.
